How to SHIFT Your Reality Today

3 things to do to shake off toxic energy

Today I am sharing about my vulnerable weekend with my teen. Parenting my teen this weekend was hell. It is a good thing I see my family tribe as a vehicle for spiritual awakening or I think I would have kept driving once I left my house for space LOL. So as a trainer of expanding consciousness I tried all the things I know to do to shift yet I was too far gone to access them. Even gratitude was a lost cause. When you feel like parenting has emotionally hijacked you and you feel numb to anything that could benefit you give these 3 things a try. One, take physical space. Get yourself out of the toxic environment. Two, get loved. Call up a friend and let her tell you all the wonderful things she likes about you so you remember them about yourself. Three, take emotional space by distracting yourself with something funny! Once you take a little emotional space you will find that you can start to move the intense emotional energy and find your heart again. From here you will be able to access gratitude! Parenting is challenging, parenting a teen is downright practice for sainthood. I find that if I use it as part of my spiritual practice and personal growth I am more inclined to find a broader perspective quicker. Blessings to you beautiful parents who are all doing the best they can and parenting with consciousness.
