Five easy to recreate activities to target the pincer grasp. The pincer grasp is the use of the fingertips of the thumb and pointer finger to pick up small objects. It usually develops between 10-12 months of age. If your child is demonstrating difficulty with these skills and needs more support than these activities, please ask your pediatrician about a referral to a local pediatric therapist.
